Here is a selection of this weeks pictures from our interesting city:
We as Bengali's aren't really creative when it comes to naming stuff. But this clearly shows that we are improving and also takes creativity to a whole new level.Cinnamon International.
Excuse the picture quality but I just wanted to bring your attention to the hero in the foreground of the poster showing that Bengali's can be uber cool too.Location: Mohakhali.
This is probably my favorite one of the bunch. I love them water JAGS so yummy water all the time. You can either blame the Germans or the Chinese for this blunder so Bangali your off the hook on this one.Location: Mohakhali Flyover.
Dr Badrul Alam definitely didn't major in English. My Granma will have to schedule a meeting with them to correct this. But in all honesty, if you say 'Avellavllel' really fast it does kinda sound like the word available...maybe squint your eyes and say it?...yes maybe?Location: Uttara.
Sly Bengali's on show here. Selling those warm winter type clothes in the middle of summer. But Summer or not a sale is a sale! And thousands (including Evans and Austin) have flocked to buy it all up.Location: Airport.
Because nothing says bumper sticker like 'Emergency eye wash'.Location: Kain's' Parking.
Pimpin' it Dhaka style. Cuz really you never know when you'll have to climb up there.Location: I don't remember.
Location: Uttara.
Location: Moghbazar.
Location: Does it matter? Just look at that prolific advertising message!
Location: Mohakhali Bus Stop.
Most of my travels take me around to the same places. So if you guys have any pictures or thoughts for posting let me have it @ umer.kain@gmail.com
